1968 - Beginnings
Recording at Advantage Recording Studio NYC
with engineer Jim Vickers
I always knew what I wanted to do. I use to
hang out in studios from age 15.
First session I ever saw was George Kerr recording
the O'Jays at Broadway Recording. In 1986 I got to work with George and Lloyd
Price. |

1969 - Black Ivory
Leroy Burgess, Russell Patterson and Stuart
Bascombe have been like younger brothers to me since 1969. They were the
vehicle of my first production successes. We have all grown over the years
- together - apart- and together again.& |

1976 - Universal Robot Band
Over the years I have taken great pleasure in
performing under different names. Each is just a reflection of one blend
of musical flavors. Each is a thread of thought. It gives me the freedom
to create and explore. |

1977 - Art Webb/ "MISTER FLUTE"
Talent alone will not insure success. Art and
I did a great album at the wrong time and the wrong genre. Too early for
Disco and not ethereal enough for Jazz purist we got lost in the transition.
Art also appeared on my "Salsoul Christmas Jollies II" Album.
I hope we get to work together again.
-Thank You Art
