NIGHT RIDER
Producer/Writter/Vocalist Venus Dodson scored a dance hit with the help of the P A SYSTEM. Patrick Adams, Dwight Brewster, Thom Bridwell, Leroy Burgess, John Cooksey, Fay Hauser, Eugene Lemon, Mike Lewis, Stan Lucas, Kenny Mazur, Kenny Morris, Norbert Sloley, Richie Tannenbaum, Pete Warner & Christine Wiltshire produced, arranged, wrote and recorded 22 albums between 1978 and 1981.

Rebecca, Marissa & Rainy Davis ("Sweetheart")
were the original members of the road group which toured as Musique

1979 - Success
Respect as a producer came with the Disco Hit "PUSH, PUSH IN THE BUSH" Even though the record was 'banned' on over 600 radio stations in the US, it rose to a respectable position on the POP charts. Studio super singers; Jocelyn Brown, Christine Wiltsire and Gina Howard provided vocals.

The Kay Gees another P A System Production

While continuing to produce, arrange and write with Patrick Adams Productions, Leroy Burgess branched out and led the Mighty Aleems for a while.

1979 - Narada Michael Walden
Patrick Adams co-produced Michael's first hit single, "I Don't Want Nobody Else To Dance With You"- beginning his transition from Jazz/Fusion to POP. The single was the #8 R&B single of the year for this future Grammy Producer of the year.

1980 - Inner Life
"I'm Caught Up (In A One Night Love Affair" Produced by Patrick Adams & Gregg Carmichael . Featuring Jocelyn Brown has become one of Disco's most enduring Classics

Jocelyn, Greg & Patrick teamed-up again to create 'The Dance Floor Anthem' of the GARAGE - with their version of "AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH" - mixed by Larry Levan
